Get all moved into your home for the school year checking in at the front of Bartley Residence! Campus tours will be running every hour on the hour from 11:00am to 3:00pm starting at the side of the Bartley Residence by Dan's Diner.

It's a great place to connect with the community, enjoy a snack, and walk away with some awesome swag!
Directly following The First Howl, students will join up in their faculty groups around Lake Tamblyn while orientation leaders guide them to their Faculty & Program Meet & Greet.

All new incoming international students will be welcomed to round off their pre-arrival journey with ISS. Welcome day will connect them with ISS, Thunder Bay, and Canada to then connect with campus through Orientation.
International students are invited to connect with other international students and the ISS (International Student Services) Team, discover what campus has available, and embrace the Canadian way with fun activities! This is a mandatory event, all new students should plan to attend Welcome Day.
Swing on by the Agora and pick up everything you will need including your student card, bus pass, parking pass (if needed), load your meal plan, pick up your orientation kit, learn about your student health plan, and more!
Explore your new hometown trekking to the downtown Thunder Bay area and Marina Park. Check in with various local businesses and organizations for discounted offerings while finishing off your exploration bingo card to be entered to win prizes!
Return trip bussing is provided from the Agora Circle to Marina Park. You can also meet us at Marina Park through your own transportation or with you LUSU provided bus pass.
Go all in at Residence Life's Monte Carlo Casino Night!
Provided is “play money” for you to compete in games with your communities or individually for off-campus students. The games include Poker, Black Jack, Roulette, Horse Races, Slots, and so much more!
At the end of the event there will be a live auction where residence houses can pool their money together to win prizes for their house. Off-campus students will be able to bid on prizes provided by the Student Success Centre.
