The One Stop First Day Festival is the official welcome to Lakehead University as students begin moving into residence.

This festival includes a number of great programs including:

Residence Move-In Day 

Get all moved into your home for the school year checking in at the front of Bartley Residence! Campus tours will be running every hour on the hour from 11:00am to 3:00pm starting at the side of the Bartley Residence. 

One Stop Shop

Swing on by the Agora and pick up everything you will need including your student card, bus pass, parking pass (if needed), load your meal plan, pick up your orientation kit, learn about your student health plan, and more!

Live, Laugh, Lake!

Ramp up the excitement around Lake Tamblyn! There will be live music by Cole Myronuk and Small Town Bad, free samples from various local vendors, reptile show, outdoor games & activities, and more!

Community Fair

Hosted in The Outpost, Lakehead University Student Union's campus bar, swing on by and meet with various local vendors and community organizations sharing information about their services!

Parent & Supporter Coffeehouse

For your parents and supporters joining you and helping you move into residence. If they have any questions for any of our staff or departments, or just want a place to hang out and refresh with a coffee, tea, or pastry, this is the place to be. Find this event in the Faculty Lounge.

Parent support coffee house to enjoy light snacks and refreshments and ask your burning questions.

Health Fair by LUSU
