Suicide is preventable. Anyone can make a difference. This is the key message behind SafeTALK suicide alertness training. The half-day workshop will enable participants to feel more confident to identify when someone may be considering suicide, communicate with them and get additional help or resources.
TBDHU is offering SafeTALK training for workplace representatives on Wednesday, September 9, 2025 from 8:30 am – 12:00 pm. This workshop will take place at the Thunder Bay District Health Unit, located at 999 Balmoral Street in Thunder Bay. Space is limited to three representatives per workplace. A workbook and light refreshments will be provided.
