Lakehead University, Thunder Bay Campus, invites applications for a tenure-track position in Accounting appointment at the rank of Assistant Professor in the Faculty of Business Administration. The academic rank of the appointment will be commensurate with the qualifications of the successful candidate. The position will commence on August 1, 2023.

The position will involve an active program of scholarly research, teaching a range of undergraduate and graduate accounting courses (including financial accounting), supervising Master students’ research, and service contributions to the Faculty and the University.

The candidate will have a Ph.D./DBA (or close to completion) in Accounting from a school recognized by Canadian universities. A CPA designation (or eligibility and a willingness to earn the designation) will be considered an asset.  Experience with experiential learning and online or alternative modes of delivery is highly desired.
