Research Assistant – Qualitative Research

Part Time, Temporary

 

In the appointment of Research Assistant, your general duties and responsibilities will be doing Qualitative Research including interviews with research participants, transcriptions of interviews, preparing reports, writing papers, literature and library research, and provision of other search support and assistance.

 

Most of the work will be virtual, however some interviews can be conducted in-person, in accordance with Covid-19 regulations.  You will report to the Principal Investigator.

 

This employment will take place during the Spring/Summer 2022 term (may be extended to the Fall 2022 term)

 

Qualifications

 

        -      Master’s or Ph.D. student, or recent graduate in Social Sciences (e.g., Criminology, Sociology, Psychology, or Political Science)

        -      Experience in Qualitative Research is required

        -      Fluency in Turkish is required, and fluency in Kurdish is preferred.
