Lakehead University, Thunder Bay Campus, invites applications for a Contract Lecturer in the Department of Chemistry. Applications are requested to teach:

CHEM 2231 AA (Organic Chemistry II)/CHEM 2231L AD1 (lab)

Textbook and Content: Organic Chemistry: Mechanistic Patterns (Ogilvie), Ch. 12-20

Start Date/Duration:   Summer 2021 (July 2 – August 14, 2021)
                                     Online synchronous (lectures and labs)

Qualifications Preferred: PhD (preferred) in Chemistry or Biochemistry, with teaching experience at the university level in science. Candidates lacking the specific degree qualification, but who possess an appropriate combination of experience and other academic qualifications are also encouraged to apply. Experience with experiential learning and online or alternative modes of delivery is highly desired.
