BUSI 1310 FAO– Principles of Information Systems

Focuses on information systems, technology, and its importance in business. Provides introduction to databases and data management, software and its development process, information systems strategy, business intelligence, eBusiness, innovation, as well as current trends in the Information Systems profession. Excel and Access skills will be implemented.

BUSI 2316 FAO – Introduction to Operations Management (evening)

BUSI 2331 FAO – Business Communications I (evening)

BUSI 3317 FAO – Microeconomics (evening)                           

BUSI 3356 FAO – Canadian Business in the Global Environment (evening)

BUSI 4351 FAO – Business Law (evening)

Winter Term (January 10 – April 28, 2022)

BUSI 1312 WAO – Introduction to Financial Accounting. (evening)

BUSI 2312 WAO – Managerial Accounting (evening)

BUSI 2351 WAO – Business Communications II (evening)

BUSI 3310 WAO – Data and Info Systems (evening)

Introduces the core concepts of data and information management, fundamentals of database management, design, implementation, and administration. Entity relationship model and structured query language will be discussed. Applied current tools to manage different data types, data cleaning and preparation, and data manipulation

BUSI 3330 WAO – Governance, Ethics and Indigenous Business

Examines topics on governance, ethics, and Indigenous business. Indigenous topics include: treaties and government legislation and their impact on Indigenous organizations, nations, and communities; business policy developments and practices related to Indigenous management; and economic, cultural, political, and legal considerations that affect Indigenous organizations, nations, and communities, and non-Indigenous partners. 

Qualifications Preferred:

PhD preferable with experience teaching at the post-secondary level.  Candidates with Master degree qualifications, with relevant experience, will be considered. Experience with experiential learning and online or alternative modes of delivery is highly desired.
