Lakehead University, Thunder Bay Campus,
 invites applications for Clinical Instructors in the Faculty of Health and Behavioural Sciences/School of Nursing. Positions will commence on variable dates across each year level of the program.

The successful candidate will have an unrestricted RN license with the College of Nurses of Ontario and have more than two years of acute care nursing experience (more than 5 years nursing experience and degree-prepared candidates are preferred). The ideal candidate will have previous baccalaureate clinical teaching experience. Applications from individuals with a specialization or interest in older adult, maternal/infant health, paediatric nursing, mental health, community care nursing, or medical/surgical nursing are particularly being sought. Experience with experiential learning using simulation and online or alternative modes of course delivery is highly desired.

The School of Nursing has offered undergraduate degrees in nursing since 1965, and has approximately 650 undergraduate students, including those enrolled in a Compressed 3-year BScN or in a 4-year BScN in collaboration with Confederation College. The School of Nursing is a member of the 9-university Primary Health Care Nurse Practitioner Program and offers graduate courses leading to a Lakehead University MPH (and will have the initial offering of a Master of Nursing Program in Fall 2021).
