Lakehead University, Thunder Bay Campus, invites applications for a Contract Lecturer in the Department of Software Engineering. Applications are requested to teach:

ESOF 4557 FDE/Data and Digital Communications

Course description:  Characteristics, performance, and software issues of digital communications and computer networks. Topics include: networks and services, Internet protocols, data compressions and coding, fundamental limit in information theory, error control, delay/loss performance.

Credit Weight:  0.5

 Start Date/Duration:   Sept. 8, 2020 – Dec. 24, 2020

      T/TH 2:30-4:00 pm 

Qualifications Preferred:  MSc or PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering or closely related disciplines

Experience with experiential learning and online or alternative modes of course delivery is highly desired.
