Faculty of Business Administration - Thunder Bay
Lakehead University, Thunder Bay Campus, invites applications for one tenure-track appointment in business analytics or related field under the discipline of Information Systems/Operations Management in the Faculty of Business Administration. The academic rank of the appointment will be commensurate with the qualifications of the successful candidate. The position will commence on December 1, 2019.
The ideal candidate has a program of research and the ability to teach/develop a variety of courses in the discipline, including business analytics, large-scale data problems, data-driven operations management, and/or supply chain analytics.
The Thunder Bay campus of the Faculty of Business Administration at Lakehead University is accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) and Chartered Professional Accountants Canada (CPA).

Review of applications will begin on September 8, 2019 and continue until the position is filled. The electronic application (in the form of one PDF document) should include: a letter of interest, curriculum vitae, evidence of teaching effectiveness (including a statement of teaching philosophy, course outlines and teaching evaluations for previously-taught courses), a statement of a research plan (current and future interests), copies of the three most significant publications, and the names and contact information of three references.
The preferred candidates will have:
(i) An earned Ph.D. or DBA in business administration or a related field from a recognized university. Applicants near completion may be considered.
(ii) A demonstrated potential for scholarship and a commitment to teaching at the graduate and undergraduate levels that complements the needs of the discipline group and the Faculty.
(iii) The potential to make service contributions to the Faculty, the University, and their discipline.
