This HR Administrator position will provide support to the Office of Human Resources by assisting in HR functions, including, but not limited to: entering and maintaining database records, payroll and benefits administration, general HRIS coordination, managing the integrity of the HRIS system through reporting and auditing, and salary administration. In this role, the incumbent will work closely with the HR team in order to facilitate and foster continued maintenance, growth and improvement in our HR systems and programs.

Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Office Administration, or a related field is required. One to five years of experience in a unionized environment working directly with HRIS as a Human Resources or Payroll Administrator is desired. Applicants with a combination of education and experience will be considered. High attention to detail, organization and time management is essential. Excellent research skills and a passion for customer service are also key factors for this role. The successful incumbent must have a comprehensive knowledge of HRIS and reporting systems, Microsoft Office Suite and collective agreement interpretation. Experience working with Datatel Colleague is an asset.
