Course Title: PSYC 1100 SDE: Introductory Psychology (1.0 FCE)

Course Description: This introductory course is designed to provide an appreciation of the scope of psychology and its sub-specialities, to render an understanding of the research-based methods which are fundamental to all aspects of the discipline, to provide an awareness of the bio psychosocial bases of behaviour and to lay the groundwork for further study in psychology.
Preferred Qualifications: Expertise, background and experience in General Psychology are required. Previous teaching of the respective course is considered an asset. Applicants must have a M.A. in Psychology, although a Ph.D. in Psychology is preferred.
