Reporting to the President, the incumbent is responsible for providing logistical and administrative support to the President. A brief outline of the responsibilities follows.
 
 
DUTIES:
 
As one of the key employees supporting the President, the Executive Assistant plays a critical role in the management of the President's time.  The Executive Assistant delegates the following:  the scheduling of meetings, the preparation of briefing materials, the tracking of expenses, the preparation of correspondence for signature, the booking of travel and the planning of events for the Office of the President.  The EA works with University staff to plan and coordinate all travel itineraries for the President.  The incumbent is responsible for performing projects assigned by the President.
 
 
QUALIFICATIONS
 
A university degree along with five years of experience in a Senior Executive Office or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Proven organizational skills to prioritize and organize a high volume of requests.
Professional, calm, tactful and discreet.
Detail oriented.
Ability to perform at high levels in listening skills, and problem analysis.
Demonstrates an awareness and sensitivity toward confidentiality.
The ability to deal with high traffic and pressured situations in a calm and diplomatic manner.
Displays exemplary phone and email etiquette.
