Course Description:
This course provides a general introduction to the environmental and occupational aspects of Public Health. Sample topics to be covered may include toxicology, risk assessment, and human influences on Public Health through development, pollution, and climate change. Aspects particularly relevant to the northern context will be emphasized.
Applicants will hold the minimum of a Master's Degree, preferably with an Environmental and Occupational Public Health background. Teaching and student evaluation experience at the graduate level and knowledge of distance education delivery is preferred. The successful candidate must possess the ability to teach using an online learning platform, although assistance will be made available via the Office of Continuing Education and Distributed Learning.
