Course Description:
This course is designed to be an introduction to population health approaches to mental health and addiction. The course will examine the impact of various substances on the individual and the population, as well as mental health across the continuum of illness and wellness with a focus on vulnerable populations.
Preferred Qualifications:
Applicants will hold the minimum of a Master's Degree, preferably with a public health background. Teaching and student evaluation experience at the graduate level and knowledge of distance education delivery is preferred. The successful candidate must possess the ability to teach using an online learning platform, although assistance will be made available via the Office of Continuing Education and Distributed Learning.
