As the primary point of contact, the Health and Wellness Facilitator will provide support to the Orillia Campus Wellness Centre by overseeing the intake, scheduling and referral of student inquiries as well as delivering and the creation and delivery of relevant programs and promotional campaigns that support healthy lifestyle choices to students. Additional responsibilities include establishing and cultivating relationships with local and regional health and wellness offices, facilities and centres, preparing monthly usage reports and ensuring compliance with government data management regulations. Assisting with the development of promotional materials, mass email campaigns, specialized resource materials and other recruitment publications and brochures will also be required.
The successful candidate has a post-secondary education preferably in health education and promotion, health administration or community services as well as one year of related experience. Proficient with Microsoft Office and publishing programs, the Health and Wellness Facilitator has a demonstrated ability to work in a high volume environment in a confidential manner. Additional qualifications include excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills as well as the ability to handle stressful situations in a calm and effective manner.
