Contract - Nine Months with Possibility of Renewal

September through April

$47,424.53 to $59,280.66 Annually

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing teaching support and marking assistance for the laboratory component of French language courses including alternating the use of teaching software, audio/visual equipment and oral interactions in French. Specific responsibilities include the development and coordination of laboratory activities as well as the preparation of instructional manuals.  

The ideal candidate has a university degree in French couple with three years of teaching experience or the equivalent combination of education and experience.  The successful candidate should be proficient with computers and technology and have excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills. Additional qualifications include the ability to exercise considerable initiative and judgment as well as a strong independent work ethic. The candidate should have native or near native proficiency in French.
