The Enrolment Services Specialist actively participates in the development and execution of the Enrolment Services social media program. In consultation with the management team, the Specialist is responsible for launching print, digital and social strategy targeted towards prospective, applicant and current students in an effort to support the recruitment and retention efforts of the University.  Additional responsibilities include ensuring students are well-informed and supported throughout their studies.  It is the expectation that the Specialist will attend and assist with events and continuously seek opportunities to better connect with current students.  

Candidates to this position must have completed a university degree and have at least 1 to 2 years of experience in a post-secondary education setting. An outstanding communicator with demonstrated knowledge and understanding of social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram, Pinterest, LinkedIn, etc.), the successful candidate has excellent writing and grammar skills. Additional qualifications include the ability to create timely and newsworthy stories as well as the ability to gather analytical data and compile information and reports for presentation.  Your ability to craft effective and engaging messages is combined with a solid competency in the use of computers and design (Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Basic HTML, Hootsuite, web media platforms and the Microsoft Office Suite).
