Department of Software Engineering - Limited Term Appointment

The Department of Software Engineering at Lakehead University invites applications for a 9-month limited term position at a rank commensurate with experience and qualifications. 

The candidate shall deliver six half-credit courses in Digital Signal and Image Processing, Data Management and Info Systems, Compiler and Algorithm Design, Software Safety and Security, Software Testing and Quality Assurance, and Performance Analysis of Software. Duties include: preparation, lecturing, attending and supervising laboratories and/or tutorials, grading, office hours, and invigilating exams. The classes are small and approximately 10 students are expected to enrol in each class section.  Class schedule may include daytime and evening lectures.

This appointment will commence on August 1, 2016 and salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience. Review of applications will begin May 1, 2016 and will continue until the position is filled.

Qualifications: PhD or MSc degree in Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science. Certification as a Licensed Professional Engineer is preferred.
