The Coordinator will increase Indigenous/Aboriginal high school student interest in a variety of academic disciplines through a university "student to high school student" mentoring relationship while providing further resources and educational support to our AMP student learners, with the outcome of increasing Aboriginal student enrolment at Lakehead University.  The Coordinator will also passionately and creatively promote the Community Learning Access Network (CLAN), which offers educational supports to give underrepresented learners more opportunities for successful integration into fully sustainable, education-related career pathways.
