Tenure Track Faculty Positions - Thunder Bay Campus

The Faculty of Engineering invites applications for a tenure-track appointment in its Department of Chemical Engineering commencing August 1, 2016. Rank of appointment is dependent on qualifications, teaching and research experience. Candidates should hold a PhD in Chemical Engineering and be passionate about research and teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels. All research areas related to Chemical Engineering will be considered. The successful candidate will be expected to develop an externally funded research program and collaborate with industry. Important industries in Northwestern Ontario include mining, pulp and paper, forestry, transportation, food and beverages, environmental, and biomass utilization. Relevant industrial experience would be a definite asset. Applicants should be qualified and prepared to become licensed Professional Engineers in the Province of Ontario.
