Duties:

Your primary responsibility will be to assist with the collection, processing, analysis, and presentation of data from various ongoing research projects. Duties include identifying eligible participants, conducting interviews (telephone and face-to-face), conducting statistical analyses, and co-authoring reports, journal articles, and presentations. Other responsibilities will include drafting submissions for research ethics boards, developing summaries of research findings for lay audiences, and you may also be asked to conduct other duties as needed.

Qualifications:

You have received training in epidemiologic analysis and have experience in conducting interviews and analyses using statistical software. A graduate degree in Epidemiology or equivalent field with at least 2 years of practical and related research experience would be preferred.  You will also have excellent verbal and written communication skills and good organizational and time management skills. Project coordinator experience would also be an asset.

Miscellaneous:

This is a short term full-time position. The position is for a period of at least 12 months with the possibility of extension dependent on continued extramural funding.
