The Recruitment Marketing Specialist is a creative, enthusiastic, and dynamic individual who is excited by the opportunity to recruit students to Lakehead University. The position requires a highly skilled individual who is able to develop, design and execute innovative and eye-catching marketing and communications materials that target prospective students, applicants and their families showcasing Lakehead University as the #1 choice for their post-secondary education. The Recruitment Marketing Specialist will be responsible for creative design of marketing material, writing and editing, and maintaining website content and managing social media platforms to encourage applications through to enrolment. A high degree of collaboration and team work is required due to the high level of interaction with both internal and external parties.  

Candidates to this position must have completed a university degree and have at least one year of related experience, preferably in marketing, design and communications. Experience and skills in graphic design and photo editing, using the Adobe Creative Suite is a requirement. With outstanding communication skills (both verbal and written), the successful candidate must have advanced knowledge of promotional materials development and publishing, demonstrated knowledge and ability in social media campaign development and execution with a history of success. The incumbent must have excellent time and project management skills, analytical and organizational abilities with a strong independent work ethic. The Recruitment Marketing Specialist must have a demonstrated ability to foster, develop and maintain successful working relationships with multiple audiences and the ability to manage creative large-scale marketing campaigns. Sensitivity to privacy issues and a flexible work schedule is expected for this position.
