The Faculty of Natural Resources Management, Lakehead University, Thunder Bay Campus is seeking a Contract Lecturer for Research Methods I: Philosophy and General Methods of Science:, NRMT-5510-FA for the Fall session of 2016 (Sept. 13, 2016start) .

Course description for Research Methods I: Philosophy and General Methods of Science

This course is conducted in 3:0 format for lectures (no labs).

Lectures Tuesday 2:30 - 5:30 pm

A wide variety of philosophical and practical topics will be covered.  These include the nature, origin, and limits of scientific knowledge; the scientific literature; library research methods; research problem analysis; research proposals; project management and reporting research results.

Qualifications of applicant should include: PhD in Forestry, Ecology, Geography, Environmental Studies/Science, Biology or related field. Must have relevant teaching experience.
