The Faculty of Natural Resources Management, Lakehead University, Thunder Bay Campus is seeking a Contract Lecturer for International Resources Management, NRMT-2310-FA for the Fall session of 2016 (Sept. 12, 2016 start) .
Course description for International Resources Management:
This course is conducted in 3:0 format for lectures (no labs).
Lectures Monday 7 - 10 pm
An introduction, review and analysis of natural resources dynamics and relationships in the context of international development. The interactive sessions through lectures, seminars/summits, and audio-video presentations explore knowledge and experiences on forest certification, model forests and comparative assessments of policies and regulations on resource management practices of different countries.
Qualifications of applicant should include: Master's degree in Forestry, Ecology, Geography, Environmental Studies or related field. Comprehension of global trends and relevant teaching experience.
