Other Third-Party Tools
Lakehead University supports several enterprise cloud services including the ones listed in this section. For a list of all institutionally supported services and applications, visit the institution’s online Service Catalogue. Lakehead also recognizes that many other free or for-cost applications are available to support and enhance innovation in teaching and learning. Since some of these systems may require the disclosure of personal information to operate properly, university members considering adopting such applications must complete and submit a form for privacy and security review of prospective cloud services contracts (Word document). Please note, reviews can take up to 6 months to complete. Refer to Lakehead’s Access to Information and Protection of Privacy webpage for full details. Lakehead University staff will not be able to provide technical support or training on third-party applications that are not part of the institution's centrally supported services; however, instructors approved to use other third-party services are encouraged to utilize the vendor resources to help support themselves and their learners.
Technology in Physical Spaces
