Health Promotion

The Health Promotion Services provided by Student Health and Wellness educate, promote and advocate for optimal student health and academic success by working in collaboration with students, faculty, services and community agencies,  while providing opportunities for student engagement in individual and community health and wellness issues.

Our goal is to empower students during various stages of change for healthy living and academic success by offering resources, services, programs and activities that focus on student wellness and overall subjective health.

Let's work together to build a WelLU!

If you are running an event on campus related to health and wellness, Student Health and Wellness wants to collaborate! Our Health Promoter or Peer Health Educators can provide resources and educational activities to accompany your event.

Email activities.shcc@lakeheadu.ca (Thunder Bay) or orluwell@lakeheadu.ca (Orillia) with your event details.

Peer Wellness Education
