Staying Beyond Check Out
Residence Extensions
The last day of the Residence Contract is April 23, 2024. Students have until 12 noon on April 24, 2024 to move out of Residence. If a student needs to stay in Residence past 12 noon on April 24, 2023, the student must submit an email request to late stay on MyInfo or email resadmin@lakeheadu.ca.
Please ensure any emailed requests include the student's:
- Full name
- Student number
- Residence address
- Requested extension length
- Reason for the extension
Notes About Approved Extensions
- The last day of the Residence meal plan is April 23, 2023. All students will need to arrange for their own meals.
- Please be advised that if your discipline requires you to stay past the last day of the Residence Contract (April 23, 2023), you will be assessed applicable room charges for your extended stay up to April 30, 2023. Effective May 1, 2023 applicable Spring Student Rates will apply.
- Relocation may be required to stay beyond the end of the Residence Contract.
