Are you looking for ways to optimize your math skills and get ahead of the game before starting your academic program at Lakehead? Then Math Bootcamp is just the thing you're looking for! Math Bootcamp 2023 is a free, online course offered by the Lakehead University Student Success Centre for all incoming students.

The Details

The goal of this optional bootcamp is to provide you with an opportunity to refresh your mathematical skills in order to be ready for your first day at Lakehead.

  • These bootcamps are designed as a partially self-guided course with tutoring support, Math Bootcamp is broken down into 4, week-long modules.
  • Each module includes an instructional lesson and weekly assignment (with answer sheet) to ensure you are grasping key concepts.
  • You are encouraged to go at your own pace and fit the program within your current schedule.
  • If you need assistance, course instructor is available twice a week for virtual office hours and group tutoring support via Zoom.
  • These Zoom groups will also be a great opportunity for you to meet future classmates.



Session #1  (January 2023)This Math Bootcamp is aimed towards all students enrolled in the Faculty of Business Administration
Session #2  (June 2023)This Math Bootcamp is aimed towards students enrolled in the College Transfer (Post-diploma) Program
Session #3  (August 2023)This Math Bootcamp is aimed towards all new incoming students at the undergraduate level.

 

How to Register

 
*If you haven’t already done so, you must accept your Offer of Admission first

  1. Go to mycourselink.lakeheadu.ca
  2. Log into MyCourselink using your Lakehead username and password.
  3. Under the "Help" menu on the right-hand side of your screen, click the "Self-Register" link.
  4. Click the "Math Bootcamp August 2023 For All Students" link and complete the self-registration.
  5. You can begin by reviewing the introductory material
