Are you planning to graduate? Don't forget this critical step!
To be considered for graduation, your very first step is to submit an 'Intent to Graduate' found in myInfo*. This informs us that you plan to graduate this year. This is what we use to determine your eligibility to graduate. Submitting your request by the deadlines below will also ensure that your name is presented to the Lakehead University Senate for approval and will also ensure your name is included in our Convocation ceremony and program.
To submit an Intent to Graduate, there is an online submission that will open in your myInfo account during the following timeframes*:
Fall Graduation (for students who have completed or will complete ALL program requirements by the end of August):
The Fall Intent to Graduate is available from mid-July to the end of September.
Spring Graduation (for students who have completed or will complete ALL program requirements by the end of April):
The Spring Intent to Graduate is available from mid-December to the end of February.
Please be sure to check myInfo to submit your intent to graduate when the application opens.
