Understanding the goals and expectations of your program or an individual course is important to your success. By knowing your program’s learning outcomes and course expectations, you can work to develop the attributes that make a teacher successful.
Education Learning Outcomes
Our Department-wide learning outcomes describe what you should know as well as be able to do once you complete a program or course; many of these outcomes are demonstrable skills that are important to being an effective teacher. Through lecture-based courses, practical teaching experiences, and in-class placements, you will work with faculty members and your colleagues to develop and demonstrate these outcomes.
