Perfecting a Solid Practicum - Orillia
This practical workshop helps teacher candidates to improve their classroom teaching performance. The instructor uses a systematic approach to critically reflect on and inquire into the various components of the practicum. This non-credit workshop addresses the following aspects of a practicum:
- Planning, assessment, and evaluation
- Classroom management
- Differentiated instruction
- Establishing a positive classroom environment
The experienced instructor will work both one-on-one and in a group setting to help participants to learn how to self-assess and identify their areas of growth. This workshop provides extra support for teacher candidates before their next practicum.
