Welcome Tatiana Khrystynko, Placement Services Coordinator
The Faculty of Education is pleased to welcome Tatiana Khrystynko to her new role as Placement Services Coordinator (Orillia campus). In this role, Tatiana will centralize and streamline placement operations across all departments and programs within the faculty, supporting teacher candidates and strengthening partnerships with school boards.
Tatiana shared the following about her new role and her interests outside of work:
“As Placement Services Coordinator, my role is to build and lead a high-performing Placement Services program where every teacher candidate receives timely, equitable, and high-quality support, and every partnering board benefits from a responsive, professional, and collaborative partnership.
My focus is on creating consistent processes, strengthening relationships, improving communication, and fostering excellence across all aspects of the placement experience, particularly as we prepare for the transition to a 12-month teacher training program in 2027.
Change is not always easy or comfortable, but it offers valuable opportunities for reflection, growth, and continuous learning. Working alongside a talented and dedicated team of Placement Officers and Professional Experience Coordinators, I am confident in our ability to achieve meaningful and lasting success.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time outdoors, either with my family or on my own, as it provides a sense of calm and the space for reflection and personal growth. I also enjoy travelling to places that are different from what we experience in our daily lives, as these experiences broaden our perspectives and deepen our understanding of the world around us. These experiences remind me to appreciate what truly matters and to remain grateful for life's many blessings, both large and small.”
