Applying for your Professional Program's Teaching Practicum

To ensure the integrity of evaluation, you are unable to arrange, under any circumstances, your own placements. To avoid the possibility of pre-existing bias and adhere to the principal of equity, we, as an institution, must arrange your placements.

To apply for your practicum (Thunder Bay Campus P/J and I/S, Orillia Campus I/S), you must complete our online Teacher Candidate Placement Preference Application Form (Year One). To access, complete, and then submit our Teacher Candidate Placement Preference Application Form (Year One), please review our Placement Presentation Two-Year Professional Program, Year One:

 The placement preference form due date is May 15, 2022 (for a September 2022 entry).

For those who receive an offer of admission on or after May 15, 2022 (for a September 2022 entry), the placement preference form due date is the same as the admissions acceptance due date.
