Lakehead University has established a partnership with Benowa State School, located on the beautiful Gold Coast in Queensland, Australia.

Benowa State School is a school with 900+ students from a rich tapestry of multicultural backgrounds. The school has a diverse student population representing over 70 nationalities and cultures. More than 40 different languages other than English are spoken as a first language among the students.

The Gold Coast is a metropolitan region south of Brisbane, on Australia’s east coast. It is known for its stunning sandy beaches, its subtropical climate, its world-class surfing spots, its rainforest hinterland and various theme parks, nightlife, and culture.
