Residence Services invites you to join them for their Monte Carlo Casino Night! Communities are provided with "play money" to compete in games. Some of these games include Black Jack, Poker, Roulette and more. At the end of the event communities will then come together with their winnings and bid in a live auction for prizes! 

This event is open to both incoming residence and off-campus students!

At Lakehead we offer many services to students and you will be able to learn about what academic support services are offered to help you succeed in your program. Take part in our connector bingo card created to help you meet your staff, peers, and student services, and have your chance to win some great prizes. Hop on the bus and head down to Marina Park for an excursion to Rockin Recovery including a performance from Canadian singer Craig Cardiff. (Take the #2 Crosstown/Waterfront city bus to the Water Street Terminal, use the pedestrian overpass to get to Marina Park)

Get familiar with all the services LUSU offers, meet and engage with Centre Coordinators, community organizations, locally owned food trucks and giant inflatable games! Campus departments, community organizations, and local businesses will join in on the fun allowing students to learn about the various supports on campus and to connect with various community partners.

Join us for a fun-filled day exploring your new home! You'll get the chance to discover the public transportation system while travelling to the downtown area to complete a bingo-style scavenger hunt featuring local favourite restaurants and businesses, and some interesting landmarks that serve as awesome photo-ops.

Please note that if you are interested in purchasing food or goods at any of the stores featured on the bingo card, you will be responsible for providing your own money to make these purchases. Transportation via the bus system will be covered as long as you have picked up your U-pass (bus pass sticker) from LUSU beforehand.
