Join us for a day in the outdoors enjoying all that nature has to offer us. We will get to warm up and enjoy smores and hot chocolate by the firepit, snowshoeing around campus trails, snowperson building, and skating on the lake (weather permitting). Be sure to dress for the weather!

Our in-person Orientation to Campus Tours are designed to familiarize our incoming students and their supporters (if applicable) with their new campus at Lakehead University! In these tours, incoming students  are shown where all the buildings are, how to get to your classes, great study spots and locate our various student supports and much more! Our live, guided tours are hosted by our Orientation to Campus Tour Guides.  

Thunder Bay campus:  Orientation to Campus Tours will start at the Agora entrance and will begin promptly at the starting time.  Each tour is approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes in length.

Join us in celebrating Halloween on October 31st in Simcoe Hall & Heritage Place! Be sure to wear your best costume and participate in a series of engaging and fun activities with lots of candy and prizes to be won!

Between 11am-2pm join us in Simcoe Hall & between 1-3pm at Heritage place, for Halloween themed activities, games, trick-or-treat scavenger hunt and more! 

There will also be free treats and hot apple cider! 

Join us in the Alumni Commons for some fun games and activities while also getting to know more about the different student services on campus. Light snacks and refreshments will be provided.

Fill Your Cup with snacks, drinks, and good vibes. Join us in the PACI Law School building for Sweet Treats and Sweeter Prizes from LUSU, a beverage station with Student Health & Wellness, and student supports and fun activities with the Student Success Centre.

On Wednesday, September 13th come by the Library Courtyard for our first ever Library Carnival! Grab a snack and play one of our many games while meeting library staff and learning how the library can help you through your scholarly journey.
