The Ontario Disability Support Program includes employment supports. They can help you find a job, get support to keep the job, get adaptive technology, help with career advancement, and more. They can also help you start up your own business by helping you develop a business plan. learn more about money management and recordkeeping, marketing help, along with other supports.
March of Dimes Employment Services
Here to support all people with disabilities, March of Dimes Employment Services focuses on career development and exploration. As a part of March of Dimes Canada, they are a part of many different supports available to people with disabilities.
FAST for Employment
The Focusing Access on Skills and Training (FAST) for Employment program is a time-limited, federally funded program of ILRC Thunder Bay. We have just began a new, 3-year project on April 3, 2023 and is set to conclude on March 31, 2026! This is exciting news for the many persons with disabilities in our community who are committed to becoming employed. The FAST Program assists a limited number of eligible, suitable participants to gain the skills to help themselves become employed.
