Trans Tech Social
This group works to support the career growth and goals of trans and gender non-conforming people through education and networking. Membership in the group is free and allows members access to resources, learning opportunities, and an excellent community of trans and non-conforming folks.
Thunder Bay District Health Unit
The Thunder Bay District Health Unit has made a great list of local resources to connect you with the 2SLGBTQ+ Community in Thunder Bay. They go beyond resources focusing on health and wellness, and include information about 2SLGBTQ+ people in work unions and in the workplace in general.
Simcoe Pride
Simcoe Pride has taken the time to compile resources and information to help support the 2SLGBTQ+ in the Simcoe area. They have included information on affirming places of worship, services, and community groups available. Be sure to check the professional association for 2SLGBTQ+ business owners!
Thunder Pride
The Thunder Pride organization in Thunder Bay is an excellent space for 2SLGBTQ+ people. They also have professional development and volunteer opportunities that can help you build up your resume.
CERIC
CERIC is a Career Counselling professional organization from which Lakehead continues to receive training and resources. They have produced articles that have even more career development and general support resources for 2SLGBTQ+ Students.
