Teaching English Language Learners, Part 2
This course will study the techniques and theories of teaching and learning English as a Second Language. Such topics as applied linguistics, federal and provincial government policies on multiculturalism, booster programs for E.S.L. students and curriculum materials will be discussed. A review of the structure of English and a study of phonetic symbols will be a part of the course. The practical activities form an integral part of this course.
