Moving exams online may seem very challenging, but it can be made much easier with some technical instruction and careful consideration of core issues: how to write effective questions for online testing, how to establish appropriate timeframes, practical considerations for academic integrity, best practices, etc.

This workshop will also touch on a variety of “alternative assessments” – i.e. assignment/activity options that could take the place of quizzes, tests, exams (online or in-person) – as well as some of the rubrics and tools available to instructors to facilitate the effective implementation of such alternatives.

This session will be offered through Zoom.  If you prefer to join in-person, we'll be in LI 5041C (meeting room in the Teaching Commons).  Feel free to bring your device to follow along.
