IPSF at Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities

The scholarships offered at the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities will support researchers seeking to establish new research collaborations in Japan (University of the Ryukyus in Okinawa), the Philippines (De La Salle University; the University of the Philippines), Fiji (The University of Fiji, The University of the South Pacific) and Vanuatu (National University of Vanuatu).

Scholarship: 

Canadian SSH students from the following programs:

  • Graduate Specialization in Gender and Women’s Studies
  • MA in English and Cultural Studies
  • MA in History
  • M.A. in Social Justice Studies
  • MA in Sociology

Fellowship

Faculty Members of Lakehead's Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities

Duration

  • Scholarships for master’s students for research stays (from one month up to one year) with co-supervision by professors from the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities and partner universities

  • Research Fellowships for faculty members (1 to 3 months)
