Lakehead University Security Service is a professional team and we are governed by professional codes of conduct. In addition to the Lakehead University Employee Code of Conduct we are also governed by the Private Security and Investigative Services Act, 2005, and Regulations. We are committed to providing a high level of service to our university community. We welcome your feedback about our level of service.
Should you have a general question about the service we provide you may review our frequently asked questions section. If your do not find a satisfactory answer there, you may reach us at 807-343-8569. We will do our best to answer your question.
If your interaction with a member of the Security Team is not what you expected, and you feel that the member with whom you interacted with did not meet your expectation of service and you feel it is important to let someone know, please reach out to us. Conversely, if a member of the team went "above and beyond", we would like to hear about that too. You may reach the Director of Security directly at this email address; email@example.com
If you wish to make a more formal complaint, there are a few ways to do accomplish this.
There is an on-duty Operational Supervisor available at 807-343-8131, Monday to Friday from 0800 to 2300 hours, or by appointment, at UC 1005. If your complaint is minor in nature, the Operational Supervisor may be able to resolve your complaint immediately.
If your complaint is more serious in nature, the Director of Security can be reached during business hours, Monday to Friday at 807-343-8615, or by appointment at ATAC 4010, or via email, at firstname.lastname@example.org
Should you have a concern about issuing a complaint about a member of the security team, to a member of the security team, you may chose to contact Lakehead University Human Resources.
All concerns and complaints are investigated.
