"Scotiabank is proud to support students in Lakehead University's Bora Laskin Faculty of Law and to help attract community-focused students from all across the country," said Kevin Farrell, District Vice President, Ontario North, Scotiabank. "We understand the importance of investing in young people so they have the tools and experience they need to succeed."

"Scotiabank's generous contribution to the Bora Laskin Faculty of Law will provide valuable financial support for students who are committed to the legal profession," said Angelique EagleWoman, Dean of the Bora Laskin Faculty of Law.

"This gift will help students remove financial barriers and achieve their goals, opening up opportunities for increased access to the study of law," EagleWoman said.

Lakehead University's Bora Laskin Faculty of Law focuses on making justice accessible to all Canadians. Its curriculum responds to unique regional needs with specializations in small and sole-practice law, natural resources-based law, and Aboriginal law.
