All around us in a myriad of ways are people getting their communities, organizations and institutions back to a better tomorrow through their gifts of time today. These incredibly creative and dynamic individuals are volunteers who – for most of our communities – are the glue that keeps our often complicated patchwork of support services together. Whether it is in our local hospices, hospitals, churches, synagogues’ or mosques, or through the hundreds of charitable organizations that touch our lives both visibly and invisibly, volunteering matters!

Our dialogue Volunteering to Victory will provide examples of outstanding volunteer leaders and the approaches they’ve used to making volunteerism a part of who they are. This open dialogue will be brought to you by the Lakehead University Alumni Association. Our session will be led by Frank Cappadocia, Associate Vice-President of Administration and Community Engagement of Lakehead University’s Orillia Campus. For more information on Frank, please read below.

You can register for the webinar here.

Frank Cappadocia, BA, MA, is Associate Vice-President of Administration & Community Engagement at Lakehead University’s Orillia Campus.
