Our professional development workshops are unique educational opportunities that help you to advance your skills and continue your lifelong learning. The following provides you with an overview of important information and regulations that apply to all of our non-credit workshops.

Our workshops help anyone to learn and advance their professional knowledge. Our workshops do not have any prerequisites allowing the following groups to register and complete a workshop:
- Certified Teachers
- General Public
In order to run, all workshops must meet their minimum enrollment. Maximum enrollment numbers vary depending on the respective workshop.
Because workshops have a limited availability, students are registered on a first come, first serve basis. To guarantee a spot in your desired workshop, please register early.
Note: Registration for any of our workshops takes approximately 2-3 business days to process.
All of our workshops are non-credit learning opportunities. Once you complete a workshop, you will receive a certificate of completion and a pass/fail mark will appear on your non-credit transcript.
Note: Workshop attendance is mandatory. To complete a workshop successfully, you must attend all sessions
To withdraw from a workshop, you must complete and then submit a Request for Change in Registration form. You must submit the Change in Registration form at least three (3) full business days prior to the workshop.
Note: Please allow approximately two (2) three (3) weeks for a refund. Also, a $15.00 fee will be charged for any workshop or course withdrawal
The Department of Professional Development in Education reserves the right to cancel a workshop without notice. If a workshop is cancelled, we will notify all registered participants by email.
If a workshop is cancelled, all registered participants will be refunded in full.
If you are interested in a workshop that is currently not available, we will gladly schedule any of our workshops for community or student groups. If you would like to schedule a workshop for you and your group, please contact the Department of Professional Development in Education.
