Submitting Samples for Testing

Q: Can a LUCAS Laboratory do the analysis I require?
A: For starters check out the Services Page. If you are still unclear, please contact Karen in LUCAS Administration. She's listed on the Staff Page and she will be more than happy to assist you.

Q: Why are prices not published on your website?
A: We don't publish our prices on the website, because we can sometimes bring the per-sample price down, depending on a number of factors such as;

  • The timeline you require the results,
  • The number of samples you submit, and
  • Busyness of the laboratory.

Please contact the Laboratory directly for a price quote.

Q: How do I prepare a sample for submission?
A: It depends on the sample type and which LUCAS Laboratory will be doing the analysis. If you know the person or laboratory you will be working with, contact the laboratory directly. If you are still unclear, please contact Karen in LUCAS Administration. She's listed on the Staff Page and she will be more than happy to assist you.

Getting the Analysis Results

Q: How long will it take for me to get my test results?
A: For many analyses, you can expect your results within two weeks. During certain peak times of the year, the response times may vary. It is best to ask the Laboratory when they expect the test results will be delivered to you. If you need results on a shorter timeline, we can often rush the order for an additional fee.

Q: What should I do if I don't understand the analysis report?
A: Please call the LUCAS Laboratory directly if you have any issues with your test results.
