Zack White

Born and raised on Prince Edward Island, Zack came to Thunder Bay in 2006 to attend Lakehead University. During his time at Lakehead, he was a member of the Men's Varsity Basketball Team as well as the Steel Bridge Competition Team. He graduated from the Civil Engineering program with honors in 2010 and began work with consulting firm WSP in their Thunder Bay office. In 2020 Zack joined local engineering consulting firm Nordmin where he is currently a Senior Structural Engineer and Manager of the Structural Department.

In addition to his full-time position, Zack has also been a contract lecturer at Lakehead University since 2017. Each fall he teaches the 2nd year Civil Engineering course Steel and Reinforced Concrete Design. He has also been a member of the Professional Engineers of Ontario Lakehead Chapter Executive Board since 2012 serving in various roles, including Chair for two years. In 2013 Zack received the G. Gordon M. Sterling Engineering Intern Award from PEO. This award is presented annually to an Engineering Intern in Ontario that shows leadership potential within the profession.

Zack has also volunteered with multiple organizations in Thunder Bay including with the Special Olympics. He enjoys playing sports, mountain biking, and traveling.
