Explore Costa Rica with Summer 2024 Field School

The Las Nubes EcoCampus in Costa Rica is a York University campus. Lakehead students (3rd-4th year undergraduates and graduate students) can participate in summer field courses as visiting students. Six 10-day courses in various disciplines are being offered over reading week and summer 2024, including an arts residency. Visit https://lasnubes.euc.yorku.ca/education/programs/. 

Through the CALAREO Consortium, grants to attend a field course are available for up to five Lakehead undergraduate students who are 1) Indigenous students, 2) low income students, and 3) students with disabilities. 

Students must be Canadian citizens or permanent residents. Some funding may be available for other eligble students who do not fit one of the groups above. Apply at https://forms.gle/HcHc18STxqhSD3cb7.
