Policy Conference
On December 5 and 6, 2013, the Centre of Excellence for Sustainable Mining and Exploration held a conference at Lakehead University on the Role of Government Policy in Sustainable Mining Development.
The purpose of the conference was to examine the past, present and future of public policy and how it promotes sustainable mining development. With a great range speakers and over 130 attendees the conference will help to inform future policy development as it pertains to mining in northern Ontario, particularly the Ring of Fire.
We will be posting the videos and PowerPoint presentations from the conference on this website and a copy of the program can be found here.
